Dalai Lama Uproar

South Africa was not happy about the government’s decision to deny the Dalai Lama a visa to attend the peace conference held in Johannesburg last week. They even started a Facebook group, “We want the Dalai Lama to come to SA!!” Trevor Manuel said the Dalai Lama should not be allowed to raise global issues that would impact the country’s standing.
