Thanks for your comment. I would never expect anyone to just accept things blindly, there should always be a level of accountability on any leader’s part and that’s where the people come in. There is definitely a place for criticism as long as it’s positive – we need to build up instead of break down.

We are all entitled to our opinion but there is a difference between having an opinion that gets dished out with a dose of respect and a negative opinion that gets accompanied by cheap name calling.

I agree with everything you are saying – however I dont think you can just ask people blindly accept things as the are an not ‘fight it’ as you put it.

Almost everything about Zuma makes my skin turn, this dont mean that I am dividing my country, this is my opinion and one I am entitled to posses.

I will accept him as president and show him the respect the office deserves – however like any other public figure who is there to SERVE US AFTER ALL I will criticize him when he does things that i dont not agree with – and if he makes a decision that I think is worth ‘fighting him on’ I will. In my opinion criticism of leaders is what makes them stronger, things will only improve in Africa when its citizens and leaders realise this.
