If the Shoe Fits…
…buy it!
The only thing to be taken really seriously in life is one’s shoes.

And I mean it. Besides the important stuff like life, death and afterlife, shoes are next on the list of Importance. Clothing can be anything from a no-name brand T-shirt from Mr P to a unique creation by Mr X. The same with jeans (apologies to all those Levi lovers). Now shoes… shoes need to be picked with love, care and passion. From comfy slops and practical but classy slip-on’s to dainty and delicate sandals and conspicuously sensual platforms. Yes, I have it real bad.
I have a huge shoe issue. I don’t have enough. And not because I can’t afford shoes. I just can’t find shoes that I like at the price I like with the limited time I have for shopping. I like the real thing. Leather. Nothing fake for me, thanks. I would much rather go barefoot. To find these shoes I need a whole day or two just to browse around for the perfect pair/s. And I just don’t have that luxury right now. So in the meantime, I dream about a pair of red spiky heels. And in my dream, I can actually walk in them without injuring my ankles.
Just look at these babies. Aren’t they beeaaauuutiful?
I’ll have the grey pair of heels and the black pair of heels, please
I would personally like one of each, please. Although they are only on-line shoes, I have feelings for them already… I searched for them with love, care and passion!
Gimme the brown boots and the silver sporty ones with the velvet thingy over the top. If you do insist I’d take the black heels as well, just for looking at!
I am in LOVE with Clarks shoes. I am not certain if shops still supply them in South Africa. A&D Spitz used to sell them years ago. It is the best, best, best – most comfortable, adorable styles and good value for money. I had a pair I bought in 2004 in England. I had to walk through a river one day (yes) with the pair of black sandals – leather and with heals. I wore them up until this year and walked many a pavement in South Africa when the doggy decided that the leather straps are much nicer between his teeth than around my ankle. I felt like I lost a friend! They took me everywhere and I felt so comfy and pretty in them – even my quite stumpy legs looked somewhat attractive with the dainty ankle straps – I miss you dear Clarkies. Will have to invest in a new pair soon – just waiting for the REAL big sales. I agree, a shoe does much more than protect – it shoes how you feel the day, it tells you so much of that person and you actually fall in love with them … some of us do …
