This is one talented Phuthu girl
The girl to my right brings much more to the table than she lets on. With her clean-face-and-hair-tied-back look, she may look like the girl next door, but trust me, she is quite the artist. Once I got to know her I realised that this laid-back chick has an intensity about her and it shows itself in her no-nonsense, honest approach to life; the way she just doesn’t let up once she’s got her mind made up! An interesting cookie, Kerry.
This is just some of her work – have a looksee:
I want to paint like this too! Loads of talent!
Wow Kerry, you are very talented indeed! Love the attention to detail, almost looks like photographs. The first one is my favourite
Thanks guys, my favourite would have to be the zebra, the picture does not do justice, I almost cried when I sold it The picture of the dog is Nykia, she is +- 17 years, love her to bits and the painting was the first one I attempted when I moved down to Durban.
Also love Nykia (no.1) and the zebra (no.2). Not only a pwetty face, are you!
As for YOU, Louise, you are gifted enough, okay. Leave some stuff for the rest of us to excel in.
Brilliant work!
Of course, my personal favourite is the picture of the 3 little girls, Kyla, Leigh and Chloe!
I also cried when you sold the zebra!!!!!!!
you are awesom…..but we always new that.
Hey Duncs! Yes Duncan is the proud father of the three girls I painted, I love that painting too, each one of them holds a different but vivid memory I love all of them.
Thanks Naomi. Naomi is featured in two of the paintings he he, I won’t tell everyone that you posed nude for me ok.
Ive seen some of those pics, they rock!
When I win the lotto I’m going to buy them all! My house is quite small but I will make a plan. I have a challenge for you, try to paint Elzet while she’s not talking!
Thanks Jeremy. Arial that could be quite a challenge
