I think it is atrocious, he should have been forced to step down as president. Firstly anger management will not have any effect on him, I like the apology thing, but I’m sure it was very insincere, R10 000 fine, what a laugh! But anyway, the only good thing is that everything has been put down on record and I’m sure that he has had some serious warnings verbal or written and If he gets out of hand again the ANC will have more ammunition to take him down (I hope)

Agreed its not a punishment at all, however we all thought the charges were going to get dropped (as per usual) so the fact that there was some form of reprimand was a big surprise. Having to apologise must have hurt him the most though I think…
