Our favourite thing to do…
Is walk. Such a simple thing but when you have the most amazing trails just 2 km down the road, it just makes so much sense…it’s good exercise for my ITG (inner thigh gap) which is slowly but surely narrowing, it’s fresh air for the Tominator and it’s core training for dad – the perfect outing for the familia.
It’s steep in places, like lactic-acid-burn-steep.
..me catch my breath halfway up stairs and take photo…can’t talk so much.
The viewpoint overlooking Kloof Gorge…
The Nator seems to be having a word with his papa. Maybe something like move away from the edge now before mama has a heart attack!!!!
Spectacular though isn’t it?
A rare sighting, the whole family in front of the lens!
Nice one loo, it really is a special place, pity so few people take advantage of having this place right in the middle of suburbia.x
Loo glad you enjoyed your first 30 years and the next 30 will be even better and it was a priviledge to have you to myself for about 21 years.
If the next 30 are just as good then I’m one lucky lady! Big loves xxx
I accidentally discovered your blog, I was actually looking for a potjiekos recipe.
I absolutely enjoy your style of writing and the family photos. Enjoy your babies, before you know it they are gone. Just heard that my eldest is going to Windhoek to start his internship in January 2012. Last but not least, Happy 30th birthday!

Aah thanks Johan for your comment and birthday wishes! So many people say they are gone before you know it…and so we’re treasuring each day as cheesy as that may sound! Hopefully one day we’ll look back on some awesome times together! Thanks for stopping by! X Louise
